Day Services Coordinator

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and innovative individual to lead our day service alongside two existing co-ordinators. Taking responsibility for the day-to-day operational leadership of activities and teams, you will work closely with the Director of Care & Support and within a wider team of residential co-ordinators to ensure that the quality of care and support is consistent across our community.

You will be assertive, self-motivated and will be able to build strong working relationships with employees, volunteers, Trustees and with our residents and day students, their families and carers, as well as with the wider community. Having a strong team ethic, you will provide nurturing, inclusive leadership to the support teams and have the ability to listen and communicate effectively at all levels.

With experience of implementing positive behaviour support, you will have extensive knowledge of supporting people with a wide range of learning disabilities. You will be flexible and innovative and willing to suggest and to incorporate new and effective ways of working, across the community, to achieve better outcomes for the people we support.

Hours: 40 per week over five days, Monday to Friday

Salary: £27,165 - £31,406 per annum
