Due to internal promotions, we have vacancies for Residential Support Workers. We are currently looking to increase our numbers of Residential Support Staff to provide high quality, person-centred care and support across a range of living situations.

Hours of work are 40 per week, worked over seven days on a shift pattern basis. Some sleepover shifts may be required.

Salary: £20,841 per annum

Holidays: 31 days holiday each year rising to 36 after qualifying period

Pension: Sector Leading 10% employer pension contribution

Sleepover: Additional Payment for Sleepover, which could add an extra £3000 to salary per annum

We are looking to recruit a housekeeper. In addition to the regular routine cleaning duties you will be providing welfare and support to our team of 35 young International Volunteers who have come from all around the world to be part of our Community and for whom this is their home for a year. An important part of this role is to help make their experience as enjoyable and memorable as possible. You will also be asked to help host and represent Camphill Blair Drummond at our Corporate Volunteering days. This will involve setting up the room for refreshments and lunch and engage with the volunteers when the opportunities arise.

You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and will be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

Hours: 20-25 hours per week over 4/ 5 days, Monday – Friday with flexible working hours considered.

Salary: £9.50 per hour

Estate Worker Horticulturalist

Experienced and enthusiastic Estate Worker Horticulturalist required for a residential community in rural Stirling.

Situated in over 5 acres of beautiful grounds surrounded by Stirlingshire countryside, Camphill Blair Drummond is a thriving residential and day service community for adults with complex learning needs.

Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant

Experienced and enthusiastic Finance Assistant required for a residential community in rural Stirling.

The position will cover a wide variety of finance tasks. As part of a small team we require someone that can play an active part in the effective and efficient running of the financial operation of the organisation.

You will possess finance experience, strong organisation skills and a passion for figures and processes. Previous experience of an accounting system would be preferred however training will be given.

You will also be an experienced administrator with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • • Maintain sales and purchase ledger
  • • Monitor and record day to day transactions through the bank and petty cash
  • • Help with the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts
  • • Maintain records and process International Volunteer Subsistence Allowance
  • • Lead on internal finance audits
  • • Assist in preparation of year end reports for Auditors
  • • Maintain, update and improve the process documentation
  • • Assist with annual fee assessments from initial contact with local authorities to agreeing and monitoring incoming fee uplifts
  • • To work alongside Maintenance and Estate with Project work, from the initial costing through to tracking expenditure
  • • Assist with monthly payroll, collecting all relevant paperwork
  • • Be actively involved in the Monthly Management Account meetings with the Senior Leaders
  • • Provide financial support to the Business Development Team for new ventures

Skills and Experience

  • • Minimum of 2 years experience in finance
  • • Experience of cloud based accounting system
  • • Competent in the use of Microsoft applications
  • • Knowledge of Xero account package desirable
  • • Excellent communications skills
  • • Attention to detail
  • • Professional attitude
  • • Flexible, adaptable and able to work under pressure
