Camphill Blair Drummond is a warm, friendly and supportive community for adults with learning disabilities to live, learn, work and relax.
Situated amidst rolling hills and breathtaking scenery on the outskirts of Stirling, it provides residential and day care activities for those with complex learning needs. Ideally located within Central Scotland, our residents and day care students come from Glasgow, Edinburgh and further afield.
A place to call home
We all need somewhere to call home – somewhere we feel happy and secure and, quite simply, can just be ourselves. Our residential homes provide a welcome and safe environment where people with learning difficulties can live in family groups alongside co-workers and support staff.
We are all good at something, as valued and unique individuals. Through our creative workshops each person can explore their creativity and develop their skills. Everyone has the opportunity to fulfil their true potential and celebrate their achievements at every step of the way.
At Camphill Blair Drummond our priority is to provide a mutually supportive and purposeful community life for adults with complex learning disabilities. In doing so, we aim to support them to participate fully and equally in society. Our values are based on:-
The Individual – being at the centre of all we do
Realising Potential – enabling the individual to grow and reach their potential
Creativity – providing activities that allow the individual to use their skills and abilities, enabling them to experience new possibilities
Engagement – participation in purposeful activities to enrich both the individual and the community
Community and Empowerment – where the individual is treated with respect and dignity at all times, has their rights to privacy respected and where they are supported to make choices

- “I have been very lucky to see the new workshops and houses become a reality. It has been talked about for a long time and it is great to see it happen. There has been quite a bit of upheaval along the way and the residents have coped with it brilliantly. However it has all been worthwhile and you just have to pop into Sycamore or Garden House to see that the residents think so too.” (Irene McLaren, Amber House Leader)
