Our New Sports & Activity Centre

Bringing 16 years of investment full circle

We are excited to share that work is now well underway on Camphill Blair Drummond's new Sport & Activity Centre.

Over the last 15 years Camphill Blair Drummond has been on a significant journey of development and investment. Our Capital Development programme has led to the build of new residential homes, modern workshops and improved facilities. These have all benefited our growing community and allow us to continue to transform lives for all those that live, learn, work and volunteer here.

The Sport & Activity Centre represents the final major piece of that long-term capital development programme. Designed around the needs of our community, our new Sport & Activity Centre will create new opportunities for sport, physical activity, health and wellbeing. It will provide a dedicated space where residents, day students, employees and volunteers can come together to be active, build confidence, develop skills and enjoy movement in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Residents, day service students, employees and families have all helped shape the vision for our new Sports & Activity Centre, highlighting activities including football, boccia, badminton, basketball, fitness training and much more.

While the building itself is important, what excites us most is what it will make possible: greater participation, stronger connections, healthier lifestyles and more opportunities for people of all abilities to thrive.

We are working towards opening in early 2027 and look forward to sharing more updates as the project progresses.

What began over 15 years ago as a vision to transform our community is now approaching completion. The Sport & Activity Centre is not just a new building; it is the final piece of a generation of investment in the people and community of Camphill Blair Drummond.
