Doors Open Days 2026

Doors Open Day Brings Visitors to Our Community

On a sunny autumn afternoon, many visitors joined us for this year's Doors Open Day, taking the opportunity to explore the Mansion House and learn more about the history of Camphill Blair Drummond. Visitors travelled from both the local area and further afield, enjoying guided tours, browsing our exhibition displays and discovering more about the people, history and heritage that have shaped the community over the years.

The event also provided opportunities for residents, students, volunteers, employees and trustees to share their knowledge and experiences with visitors. The day generated plenty of positive conversations, with one family describing the tour as "very interesting and good fun" and expressing their appreciation for the way employees took the time to engage with their son during the visit.

The café proved a popular destination throughout the afternoon, providing visitors with an opportunity to relax and reflect on their tours. Together, it raised £434 towards equipping our Sports & Activity Centre, helping to support future opportunities for sport, activity and wellbeing across the community.

It was a wonderful opportunity to open the doors of the Mansion House, share our story and showcase the people, history and values that make Camphill Blair Drummond such a special place
