FAQs
What COVID precautions are in place at Camphill Blair Drummond to keep my team members and your residents safe?
Camphill Blair Drummond is a registered care home and as such is under more stringent guidance than the Scottish Government guidance for the general public. We would thoroughly brief you on any testing requirements and the wearing of PPE prior to your visit.
What size groups are you able to host?
We can cater for all group sizes from 5 to 50+, and we’ll tailor the activities according to the size of your specific group or groups.
What is the likely cost to my company for a typical away day at Blair Drummond?
There is always lots to be done on the estate and in the gardens from spring, through summer and into autumn.
We ask all volunteers to bring sturdy boots and waterproofs. If the weather becomes really inclement, we have a few cosy bothies located around the estate to retreat to for a hot drink.
What are the catering arrangements for my team?
We will provide tea and coffee on arrival. At lunchtime, we will provide a light lunch in one of the castle reception rooms. We can cater for any special dietary requirements.

What do my team members need to bring?

Will we/how will we be able to see the long-term impact of our volunteering? Is there any immediate follow-up to our day?
We will keep in touch and update you with the visible changes your team have made to the grounds and estate.
What is more difficult to demonstrate is the positive impact your team will have had on the lives of our residents and students during your day at Camphill. Your team will have the opportunity to meet many of our residents and students. Your presence in the community maintains the vitality and freshness that the residents and students so appreciate.
