Location: Camphill Blair Drummond
Hours: 37.5 per week (flexibility required, including occasional weekends/on-call)
Salary: £27,261-£30,049

About the Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to oversee day-to-day repairs, coordinate planned maintenance, and supervise contractors. This is a hands-on leadership role ensuring our facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for all who live and work here.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and carry out general maintenance tasks (basic plumbing, joinery, minor building repairs).
- Conduct regular safety inspections and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
- Manage stock levels and liaise with contractors for specialist work.
- Maintain compliance with health & safety, infection control, and fire safety standards.
- Support emergency procedures and participate in a winter on-call rota.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in general maintenance, ideally in care or residential settings.
- Supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and joinery.
- Computer literacy (MS Teams, Outlook, Excel).
- A valid driver’s license (essential).
- MEWP and PASMA certifications (or willingness to work towards).
- A positive, flexible attitude and commitment to high standards.
- Compassionate and respectful approach to working around vulnerable adults.
